Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Dr.
Amorette Hanna completed her undergraduate studies at the University of
Florida. She then went on to attend optometry school at Nova
Southeastern University in Fort
Lauderdale, Florida, where she graduated with honors in 2013. During
her optometric education, Dr. Hanna received extensive training in
contact lenses, pediatrics, low vision, and ocular disease, including a
rotation at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center
in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Dr. Hanna is a member of the American Optometric
Association, the North Carolina State Optometric Association, and the
College of Optometrists in Vision Development. When not practicing
optometry, Dr. Hanna
enjoys being outdoors, baking, and traveling.
